Delivery on the community's narrow lanes
Silver Beach is built on a grid of lanes barely wider than a car, lined with close-set cottages right down to the shore, so access shapes every drop. We plan the approach so the truck can reach the spot and back out without clipping a fence or a parked car, and we often stage a unit at a wider corner or the community entrance when a lane is too tight. For a stand on a community road or a shared path, coordination with the community association may apply, and a public right-of-way is a check with the city. Tell us the lane and any tight turn, and we route the drop to fit the maze.
Cottage projects on the shore
The bungalows here need constant care against the salt air, and a standard porta potty serves a crew through a cottage renovation, foundation or porch work, or storm repair along the seawall. On these small waterfront lots we keep a unit on firm, high ground back from the tide line where the footing holds, and clear of the narrow lane so neighbors can still pass. We service on a weekly rhythm, more often for a busy job. Give us the ground and the access, and we choose a spot that serves the crew without boxing in the lane or crowding the cottage next door.
Beach gatherings and winter storms
Silver Beach turns out for summer gatherings by the water, and a deluxe flushing unit with a handwashing station covers a community party, set at a firm spot clear of the foot traffic with an ADA accessible unit for full access. Come winter, when a Nor'easter drives water and ice up onto the Throgs Neck shore, we keep any long-term units on high, firm ground clear of the surge and stay on a schedule that works around the weather. Ask us to reset a unit before a coastal storm so the base does not wash out, and we keep the door and vents clear.
