The campus event calendar
The academic year drives demand here, with commencement, reunions, move-in days and open-air campus events clustering in spring and fall. For a large gathering on a quad or a closed side street, we stage banks of flushing units and a restroom trailer where the ground is firm, add handwashing stations near any catering, and set a service window so a long ceremony day never runs a unit down.
The cathedral grounds and the seminary lawns off Amsterdam Avenue take a trailer or a cluster of units for concerts, fairs and community events on their open turf.
Where a unit sits in a campus district
Space is prewar-dense, so units go inside campus gates and fenced work areas, on plaza aprons, or curbside by a building job on Broadway and the side streets. We place each one tight to the site on firm ground, clear of building entrances and the steady student foot traffic, coordinating with facilities or the institution's management on the exact spot.
During move-in and commencement the campus fills with families and vehicles, so we schedule drops for the early morning before the crowds build and the side streets choke with double-parked cars. A unit tucked just inside a gate stays out of that churn while still meeting the foot traffic where it flows, and we plan the pull-out for after the last event.
Access on the plateau
The neighborhood sits above Morningside and Riverside Parks, so deliveries come in along Broadway and Amsterdam and we time them around the campus rush. A curbside placement on a public street may need a right-of-way permit, which we flag; on university grounds and fenced sites we coordinate with facilities and set the unit without a street permit.
